The Mature Saints Fellowship is a vibrant community that offers more than just a group for seniors. It's a place where you can continue to find purpose, deepen your faith, and grow in character. We come together to support and encourage one another. We focus on building relationships, studying the Bible, and praying together. Our regular meetings, social activities, and community service projects are not just events but opportunities to serve God and others. Through fellowship, mentorship, and support, we create a safe and welcoming environment where you can find encouragement, share your experiences, and continue to live a purposeful life. We provide a place for you to connect with others who are going through similar life stages and to find a sense of community and belonging.

The Harvest House Food Distribution Program is a compassionate outreach ministry committed to providing food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Rooted in our mission to serve with love and dignity, the program offers nutritious groceries, health-focused food information, and essential household items to all in need—regardless of background or circumstance. Our efforts are made possible through the generous support of church members, community partners, and dedicated volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and resources to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Distribution takes place every 4th Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and everyone is welcome to receive support in a warm and respectful environment. If you feel called to serve in this ministry, we welcome your help. Please contact the church office at (323) 756-3966 for volunteer opportunities or any questions you may have. Together, through faith and service, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ—offering hope, nourishment, and love to our neighbors in need.

“For I was hungry, and you gave me food,
I was thirsty, and you gave me drink,
I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.”
— Matthew 25:35

Ushers

About Us

The Usher Ministry at Park Windsor Baptist Church is the congregation’s first expression of

hospitality. Ushers do more than guide people to seats;

they create an atmosphere of

warmth, dignity, and reverence from the moment anyone enters the sanctuary. Through

their welcoming presence, they reflect the love of Christ and help worshippers feel valued

and spiritually prepared to receive the Word.

Ushers assist the elderly, families with children, visitors, and members alike, offering not

only practical guidance but emotional and spiritual support. Their ministry embodies the

belief that worship begins at the door — that the way people are greeted can shape their

entire experience of God’s presence.

The ushers operate with discipline, unity, and excellence. They maintain order during

worship, ensure smooth transitions throughout the service, and respond with compassion

during moments of need. Whether distributing programs, facilitating seating, assisting

during altar call, or quietly comforting someone in distress, they serve with humility and

professionalism, always mindful that they represent both the church and Christ.

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown

"Hospitality to angels without knowing it.
